Michael Rasmussen --- Managing Director

Mr. Michael Rasmussen is a Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking at Ambassador Financial Group, Inc (AFG). Prior to joining AFG, Mr. Rasmussen was a Managing Director at Stifel Nicolaus & Company, a publicly traded financial services company headquartered in St. Louis, MO. During his years at Stifel, Michael managed or co-managed numerous merger and acquisition transactions in the financial services industry aggregating approximately $3 billion in value. Additionally, he completed many common stock offerings specific to the thrift industry.

Prior to joining Stifel, Michael served for ten years as a Managing Director at McConnell, Budd & Romano, Inc., a New Jersey based investment banking firm. Michael began his career at Manufacturers Hanover in the corporate finance group following his graduation from Fordham University with Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. Michael also holds a Master of Arts degree in Economics from Rutgers University. He holds NASD Series 24, 7 and 63 licenses.
